Harvey Tool is offering a new line of solid carbide Miniature Variable Helix End Mills that are optimized for aluminum and aluminum alloys.
The new Miniature Variable Helix line features the Variable Helix End Mills in long reach, stub flute with ball profiles. The long reach, stub flute design allows for maximum rigidity while machining deeper cavities.
Miniature Variable Helix End Mills have a design that reduces chatter and harmonics while increasing material removal rates. These Miniature Variable Helix End Mills are offered uncoated or with either an Amorphous Diamond coating or a TiB2 coating.
The Amorphous Diamond coating offers improved lubricity and wear resistance. The TiB2 coating prevents build-up on the cutting edge, chip packing and also extends tool life.
Cutter diameter sizes for our Miniature Variable Helix End Mills range from 1/32 to 1/4.
