Our Miniature Long Reach Stub Flute Variable Helix End Mills for Medium Alloys line now includes sizes down to .015” with 5x, 8x, and 12x reach! The additional reaches allow for milling of deep cavities, while maintaining maximum rigidity. Optimized for readily machinable medium alloy steels, stainless steels, and tool steels, the uneven helix varies tooth to tooth and along the flute, and the unequal indexing helps reduce chatter and harmonics when milling deep down in a cavity. This tool also has a varying flute rake, eccentric relief, and controlled edge prep. The AlTiN coating offers increased lubricity and heat resistance. All these features combined allow for increased material removal rates and a better finish.
